Baffle seal

It’s a special seal made from 1.4571 (316Ti) metal strips, both for the lamellae supports and the lamellae themselves.
Being metal products, they guarantee safe operation over a wide temperature range. For special applications, PTFE strips can be inserted between the last two lamellae.
Baffles are generally used in heat exchangers systems, where they seal the gap between shell and longitudinal internal baffle. This decreases the involuntary exchange of confined fluids, increasing the system efficiency.
Standard applications use four 20 or 30-mm-wide lamellae, spot welded onto their metal support. Other dimensions are usually made upon customer specs.
The length of such special seals are not subject to any production limits.
